Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway's 2013 Oscars red carpet look drew divisive opinions across the board from fans and fashion critics. The pale pink Prada number disappointed some, who expected the actress to turn out to the 2013 Oscars in either Chanel or Valentino. Anne Hathaway's nomination at the Oscars this year is for Best Actress in a Supporting role for her stirring portrayal of the down-and-out Fantine in Les Misérables. MTV's Josh Horowitz during the red carpet pre-show says, "[Anne Hathaway] will probably walk away with Best Supporting..."

In the past at the Oscars, Golden Globes, and various movie premieres, Anne Hathaway has proved that she is comfortable with taking risks (hello, her Tom Ford look at the New York premiere of "Les Misérables"!).

The 2013 Oscars red carpet was different for the "Love & Other Drugs" actress, who usually steps out of her comfort zone but tonight stepped into a desaturated pink Prada column dress. Usually an A-Lister who plays it safe, Anne Hathaway went for understated chic.
